Title: Slow Post by: darkmonth on December 23, 2003, 06:12:55 PM Is it me or is the forum becoming major league slow? I have DSL and every other website I visit, including other GnR sites, is wikid fast. For some reason this site is slow at the moment. So slow that as I type this, the list of smiley icons at the top STILL havent appeared. The other icons are still drawing themselves... ooohh... here they come... one... by... one...
I reckon it could be due to the sheer size of the forum now... it must have bazillions of posts! Oh, and are you using Gzip or something Jarmo? Yeah, I also have cable, and it just took about 15 seconds to fully load the posting page, after I clicked Reply. That's about 14 seconds more than it takes on most of the other forums I visit.
