A long shot, I know,
But I saw this video
On ol' VH1

Some fat white chick sang
Piano ballad of love
Standing in the dark.

She had a good voice
And the song was familiar
As one I had heard

Way back in my teens.
Now it's slipped my mind again
Can someone help me?

She wasn't pretty
And she was very heavy
And had streaked white hair.

Lame song, I liked it...
She wouldn't make it today
And that is a shame.

Who the hell was she?
Do you have any ideas???
If so, please tell me.

Piano pop/rock?
She had an R & B voice
At least, a little...

The chorus dealt with
Letting you know you want her
Or setting her free...

Or something like that!
I was half-asleep and buzzed...
It's driving me NUTS!!!!
