all LLAS silver CDs are sourced from the official LIES cd. they just ripped the "live" songs and pressed some silver cds from to make it look offical so they can  make $$$$.
best quality source from the LLAS tracks is to get the official MFSL Lies CD.

My source is 10 years + of collecting GN'R. And yes lots of people get ripped off on ebay.
Someone could put the fuckin' moon up for auction and there would always be a moron who would bid on it  Tongue

Well I've been collecting for about 14+ years

and I just recently got the internet 8 years ago ,? thats when I heard of most of the cool collectables out there . and then came accoss the Red disc.

I thought what the hell, I know from experience that they said LLAS sold so many thousands of copies with no advertising what so ever.
And obviously a PROMO would be a form of advertising. So thats what I thought it had to be a fake in adition to the discographies I've found on line,

Hmmm I wonder if the LLAS promo Posters are also Bootlegs? Roll Eyes

So do I. I bought a LLAS poster two weeks ago. Allthough, even if it's a bootleg it's a cool poster.

LLAS was originally only released on vinyl, limited to 10,000 copies.  LLAS was never released on CD so definately these CD's that turn up on Ebay are just good quality silver printed CD bootlegs.  Don't buy 'em, they ain't worth anything.

It's been mentioned by official sources before there was no CD pressings of LLAS. There was a vinyl release (and I think cassette) but definitly no CD.

Ok I stand corrected,  thanks

one thiing I do wonder is if there was a limited pressing of about 10,000,  and there were tapes and LP's  pressed,  how many were tapes and how many were LP's?

ANY IDEA?

Honestly I wondered that myself, but I still think the 10,000 was vinyl. Cassettes were/are far easier and cheaper to put out than factory pressed discs. Curious point though, I have seen far less cassette versions pop up than vinyl.

Yeh I got a cassette from a fan that new someone close to gnr back in the day.

so I am pretty confident it's authentic, and you are right, there are much much less cassettes that pop up for sale than vinyl, I would really like to know the statistics of the quantity of cassetts because everything I've seen just says that live like a suicide was limited to around 10,000 copies with no advertising . and I can't find any other info than that as far as quantity.
