With everything that has happened in the past, esp the last tour, there is NO WAY there will be a riot at any of the NY shows.  The venues don't want them and I doubt Axl does either.  IF he is a no show (which I do not think he will be) and things even have a hint of getting out of control, security will be on the crowd very very fast.

EVEN with all that, I doubt the crowd would even do anything, yeah we're NY'ers but we're not idiots.

I absoultey hope this whole summer goes well and anyone who even mentions the word riot shouldnt even be here because nobody wants shit to ?start....after we're so close to actually getting Axl out of his shell for good Undecided

yeah i was at philly too.  i think the reason we were so pissed is because we had just sat through CKY and mix master mike.  you try to restrain yourself after that crap.

all in all, and i know this is weird to say, but the riot was kind of fun to watch.  my friends and I got into one of the suite boxes and ate pepperoni bread during the whole time.

we got on mtv news, and good morning America too.  my friend had his tooth knocked out in a rugby game a week before the concert, and we told a reporter that it happened during the show.  she believed us and put us on tv.  it was a good time.

but come may 17th i want to see some gnr!

I have thought about this a lot since this is GNR were talking aboug, but I highly doubt that there will be riots because Axl has to know that he has to be on his best behavior and not fuck this up.
....However if there is a riot and he cancles a show or 2 or 3 then i hate to say this but it will be the sad end of Guns N' Roses as we know it.

There wont be a tour without a riot hihi If they play in every place they have promised to and they don't cut any of the shows, there won't be a riot.

if there'll be a riot the only ones to blame are the people at the shows. sure, maybe axl didn't show up but thats not a reason to act stupid and throw chairs at people in the crowd because they were expecting a show too.
let's beat the shit out of every body around us because axl didn't show up. i bet that way we'll get our money back. there were a lot of idiots with that attitude at the other riot shows. but i guess this will not be the case if axl misses one show because the people attending the shows are mostly board members who i think have a brain and act civilised.

If there were a riot it would be a lot more a reflection of what type of people like Guns n Roses. No normal level headed person is going to start a riot. Acting like Idiots sure isn't going to make things better. Axl still wouldn't magically appear. So if by chance Axl doesn't show....... you just go home and deal with it. Don't buy anymore CD's, Don't support Axl and then cut all strings with the band. You hit Axl where it counts. As far as I'm concerned Gun's n Roses is no more anyway. Basicaly Axl is the only one people now pay attention to. He's the Big draw. It's all about Axl.... PERIOD.? These New York Shows are either going to make or Break him. He's already on borrowed time. He's hanging by a string with his oddball behavior. If he fucks up, then his career will be dead forever! End of Story.

I've got to be honest. THIS IS NOT A CONCERT I WOULD WANT TO BE AT. There seems to be way to much risk that something bad can happen. Can you imagine putting your entire Life in the hands of someone as unreliable as Axl Rose? Good Fucking Luck to anyone who goes. I sure hope he shows up for all your sakes. If he does I am sure it will be one of the best Fucking Nights of your Life. If he doesn't.......then I don't even want to think about what's going to happen. Especially with the way some of you Talk.

I'd definitely be irational if the one of the shows I'm going to got canceled.
I'll be skiping classes, skiping tests, going over borders, and if they dont show up, you'd know I'd be mad at least a little bit.

of course you'll be mad
but the idea is that you shouldn't start throwing things aroud just because... no the people around you are probably in the same situation so why take it out on them?

I haven' told any of my friends that I am traveling to these New York shows on my own because I don't want them to worry about me. It would be so embarassing to get injured in a riot and to have to tell all the doctors i work with that i was injured in a riot at a concert! But I truly believe that AXL will be there and that these concerts are going to be magical! With all the  effort that Mysteron and management put into these presales for us I really think that AXL WANTS TO BE THERE! Axl is about to launch the greatest comeback in rock and roll! Soon his pictures will be all over the major music magazines!Axl is about to DEFY GRAVITY!

Nobody should have to get hurt going to a concert.  If he doesn't show, leave and go party in NYC and get your refund.  No need to act like a fool.

I just want to add that liking it or not, Axl is bipolar....... so anyone that is bipolar or knows someone else who is, knows that anything can happen at anytime! Even if he knows that there's no reason to quit, episodes can happen anytime and they don't make too much sense.
But I hope he plays all the concerts and they're all great!!!! He deserves it!? yes ok beer

I am going to the 3rd show.... I think ill know by then, we all will if he shows up for the first 2 then things are cool; and rocks on!! If by some chance he doesnt show and riots do start the only thing I hope happens is that the normal, good, orderly people just step out of the way and let the police do their job. The NYPD is a steller force that can handle something like this without loosing a beat. I would be furious if he didnt show and love to trash his equipment and cause damage so he can pay for it, but its not worth it, there are innocent people around, people's safety should override rage.... I think

I don't think he will cancel either although the back to back shows scare me as I said before once we heard bout the 14th date being added.   That place is too small for a riot [not that any place is big enough for a riot but you know what I mean].  That would be really scarey...I am hoping that it all goes off without a hitch beer
