yeah I heard it on Youtube about a month or so ago...its definatley Axl, no doubt in my mind about that......the clip is too short for me to actually form an opinion on the song...

Anyone notice the solo towards the end is actually the solo Finck plays live these days...

I love that solo.. it was a good addition to that song...

But on topic, who is questioning the legitimacy of those demo's?

I didn't say that the demos were fake, I said people question the legitimacy of the "'99" demos... It's possible they're newer or older than that.  It's also possible that it's pieces of the original leak mixed with those alternate parts.

From 10sec clip I can't really tell but I don't like it.
sounds like axl singing motorhead or something on karaoke at best if not a my fav pillow type singer.

for now, I say it's not GNR.

I think its Axl yes, and probably the first wave of "New guns" (Josh freese, paul huge etc)

However, from the 16 seconds I've heard, it sounds pretty mediocre.
