Anything by Beyonce.

I think just about any pop music,  ok

Don't you think there is a place for pop music? I mean none of us here are fans but there has always been pop music and some of it can be well written (although not by the artists performing it  hihi) and dare I say it the occasional guilty pleasure of a song pops out.

I mean if the world solely consisted of rock music would it be a better place or would we get bored because we had nothing to slag off?

Hmmm interesting.

But yes back to poor Gwen......is indeed a shame.

Elton John is a great performer, and I'd classify MOST of his work as pop (though it also falls into the uber-generic "classic rock" category).  I tried listening to some pop the other day, just to see what the buzz was about.  It was Coldplay.  It was awful.  So whiny!  I mean, I don't need ALL my music to be infused with testosterone, but come on!
