I think the thirsty are just starving for a drink. I figured out that the date was from an outside source just by reading this thread. I think those that skim or just see a date get the blinders on. I don't mean that in a bad way, it's just easy to see what you want to see in those type of situations.
If it helps any, I called The Crash Mansion about the date and I asked them if GN'R were scheduled to play there on 10-24. They put me on hold and then told me "no".
how long were you on hold for and if you went to their site; they list shows for about a week or two period..........
it wouldn't surprise me if they play a few shows in NYC before heading off on a larger tour
