Wow!  Got to go with the new CD!  I love that intro and the scream as well.  I really wish we could get some kind of info from the band.  Also agree you have to open up the new shows with this version.

How many are we? We are not the people who need a single to get interested in the album.

CD is the song that got me and attracted me to this band in the first place. It will make a great opener.

Yet I think better is more suitable for a first single.

CD has a more unique sound than Better. It's more distinct and memorable in my opinion.

True. Somehow I can't make out what the voices are saying in the beginning tho. That's punk.
Both have an unique sound respectively.
Better has positive vibes and a peppy and dynamic movement. It's probably more accessible to everyone.

It would be absolutely ridiculous to release a single which we already heard now for some years on the net (the leaks etc). If they want to release a single, it needs to be one we have never heard before.

The only people who've heard these songs are, for the most part, big time GnR fans who are going to buy the album regardless.  Aside from Better and IRS getting a few spins on the radio before getting shut down by management, most people haven't heard these songs.  And singles are all about generating mainstream attention.  Die hard fans who they know will be there to buy CD the day it comes out are not the biggest concern when releasing a single, the single is meant to generate interest amongst casual fans

I'll repeat it here.

CD says "GNR is back and we haven't lost a motherfucking thing you stupid fucking TWAT."

Unless they have another rocker we haven't heard that better says that then CD does. But as it stands...

I'm doubting between CD or Better.

2 days ago i would have said  Better hands down..  i didn't even like the song Chinese Democracy.. now however.. its pretty darn close.. amazing... what i thought was such a weak track..is now one of my favorites.. dieing to hear a studio version of Rhiad.. i really hope that sees the light of day..either on the album.. as a b side.. or a leak.. an 06 version of OMG would fire me up too

I agree, and my money's still on "Better."  However, my opinion of "CD" has skyrocketed in the past 24 hours....

Hell a 2001 version of OMG would fire me up, with the new effects in the intro and the Buckethead guitars that they had at RIRIII

OMG is one of the most underrated GnR songs, even though the version on the End Of Days soundtrack sounded kind of rushed, it's still a good song and Axl's lyrics are excellent

The Single will be Better remember we haven't heard the finished version and who cares if a unfinished demo has been around for a year its not the FINAL VERSION.
