I've been using Nero for years to burn and copy both cd's and dvd's.

All of a sudden it now won't copy dvd's I know copy as I have done them before.? Does anyone know why this has happened or recommend another program.

Also why is it that some discs copy and other's don't, is there anything that can be done.

Help!!

Some dvds might be write-protected so NERO won't burn them, I had the same problem.
I use ''clone cd'', you can burn cds and dvds with it, works perfectly and it can burn those dvds that NERO can't.

Have you installed any region free software on your pc. I had DVDregionfree i think it was, and it caused major probs with nero.

Some discs would burn some would not, with 1 CD nero was saying that it had over 2gig of data on it, a CD Huh.
After playing around I worked out it was the region free software, I uninstalled it and nero has been fine since.

I think it would help us all if you would post what exactly is happening when you are trying to copy a DVD.
A description of an ERROR MESSAGE would be helpful.

"It won't copy" is NOT enough to help you.

The error message says "burn process unsuccessful"

are u copying from disk to disk? or are u ripping the dvd first to your hd and then burning? it sounds like a software conflict with nero.
