Cancelled 2006 Tour & Future GNR Tours

Riddle me this Batman...I thought the cancellation of the end of the 2006 tour was because Axl and the boys wanted to get back into the studio and finish (mixing?, mastering?) CD so that it could come out by early March 2007? So what happened to the record?? And if the record wasn't the reason the end of the 2006 tour was cancelled, then what was the real reason?? I guess that it was just another load of B/S that we GNR fans have to deal with. I for one am getting sick of it.

So I guess the real question is, would you guys go see GNR again if they toured without CD coming out, and they didn't play any more new songs off CD? I asked this questions to my brother (who is also a huge GNR fan) and he said that Yes, he would go see GNR again, is they toured with out releasing CD and they did not play any new songs from CD. I, for one, would not go see GNR again, unless they release CD and play some more new cuts live. Sorry to say, but the leaked songs are already a couple years old (and some are getting close to being a decade old), and I want to hear some new songs already!!

Just my thoughts...I'd like to hear yours.

The plan was (for as far as I know) to really get it out back then, apparently something didn't go as planned. Shit happens.

I for one would love to see GNR live again, with or without the new record. Mind you, the songs are still new...just not to the handful of people that downloaded the songs, It's not GNR's fault that you decided to download new songs that leaked on the internet, you only have yourself to blame for that. the majority of people that go to the shows have not downloaded the songs, and in their eyes, the songs are still new.

Apparently there is some problem with the record company.  That's why CD isn't out.

As for seeing them, I probably would since I never have.  However, I'm not driving to the other end of creation to do so and they didn't really come close enough in 2006.  Plus I can't seem to get many friends interested in this new version and I wouldn't go by myself either.

why not go by yourself, i have done in the past.... if GN'R are playing in my country then i go....simple as that
