Are there any Eddie Money fans on this site?

I know he isn't the greatest musical artist of all time or anything, but lately ive been listeng to him alot, its just good fun music.

Love him, he writes great stuff. Pick up the best of album if you are not familiar with his songs.

I've only ever heard 'Two tickets to paradise', but i love that song.

me 2 and i only know it because of gta san andreas where axl has lent his voice to a radio dj.. when he's introducing eddie money he says something along the lines with "here's eddie money, he got 2 tickets to paradise and i do to.. in my pants"

I am also of the 'Two Tickets...' crowd. I first heard it on The Simpsons when Homer sings along to it. Then San Andreas of course. Wink

I actually saw him live back in 2004, i forgot to mention that earlier.  He still has a great voice and pretty good stage presance for somone near 60.

Any King of Queens fans might have seen the episode that Eddie appears in.  Doug and Deacon win something like five grand from a boxing bet and they have to spend the money in one day before their wives find out.  Anyhow after only being able to spend like $500 at the close of the day they run into Eddie at a restuarant and hire him to do a private concert at their house.  They're trying to get him out before Carrie gets home and he keeps doing extended sax solos....Doug utters the line, "Oh man he's going for the sax again."  Totally hilarious.
