Britney Spears' "Blackout" is coming sooner than expected. The pop star's eagerly anticipated new album will be released Oct. 30, Jive Records announced Wednesday, citing Internet leaks as the reason the date was moved up from Nov. 13.

Jive said it "is doing everything possible to prevent and avoid any further illegal distribution of songs," including the leaking of "unfinished material and demos represented as completed legitimate songs" to the Internet.

Absolutely.  America loves trainwrecks.  And she's got that role down pat.  Her single has taken off.  I just wish Geffen had the same outlook on leaks, and releasing albums.

I actually like a few of her songs.

Though I'd rather just burn those songs onto a CD rather than wasting my money on her albums.

I actually like a few of her songs.
For me, I didn't like much of any of what she did. It was a little too much "hits for kids" and cliche's in her songs.
Britney is still one of the big names in todays pop-music, regradles of what the media wanna feed me.

So I listened to the new album as as objective I could, still was sceptic, but suprisingly liked what I heard.
It's straight ahead, industrial sexy melodic pop.

I think this album will give Britney a lot more credibillity as a musician long to come with this album peace

It's mostly her newer stuff I like anyways. The first couple of albums did sound like they were just for kids, but her newest album isn't so bad, actually... like you say.

Yes...I've lost many nights sleep over this. I've woken up to many more messes, as well.

If you have alot of sisters, maybe I can kind of understand. XDOr if you just wanted to hit it with Britney, then i could definitely understand. (back in the days...)
