Some Kinda Magic

« Reply #20 on: February 20, 2008, 08:45:43 PM »

Bach's father did the cover artwork for the Angel Down CD.

The CD notes read:

COVER: "A Eulogy To Art, David Watching, To Fantin Latour" by David Bierk (RIP 1944-2002).

Bach's father was born in Warsaw in 1944, during the Warsaw Uprising. My great aunt saved his parents who were trapped, "stuck inside"  a cellar that was being bombarded. Bach's grandmother was going into labour.....

Bierk is a Polish name.

And we care why? Does anyone really care what nationality Bach is? I highly doubt it.

And everyone knows that his father did the cover.

I'm still waiting for you to post the info on Bach n' Axl being "childhood" friends.

Johnny Chromatic is one of the guitarists in Bach's band.  Axl wrote the lines from his part of the song and that's it.  Johnny Chromatic wrote the rest of the song.

It's kinda easy to figure out - Axl's from Indiana, Baz was born in the Bahamas and raised in Ontario, Canada. And Axl is also six years older then Baz.

Baz was raised in the city of Peterborough, Ontario. The same city I was born and raised in. It's pretty far from Indiana.

maybe they were net board mates. hihi

on topic, axl says
"when Bas played the third track, "Stuck Inside," he suggested a kind of call-and-answer part. They allowed me the freedom to write my own words and melodies, and although it's only a couple of lines, it really felt great. The song has such a mean riff, and....."

Yeah, I know that, but Angel Down doesn't.

And Axl had "Glam Sucks" on his leather pants, written in whiteout.
