Guns n Roses in 2010 as a SuperBowl halftime show would be AWESOME. I hope it happens.  The Boss will do a good job this year.

I actually don't want this to happen.. i'd rather have them headline some big US festival or something.

If it does though it would be pretty sweet - but big TV spots like these are usually reserved for "safe" artists.

I don't want this to happen either... the Superbowl performances always suck... even when it is good artists... The Stones had their day with the Superbowl and I could never be so disgusted... It came off horrible. I think that the reason I hate the performances is they just seem too "setup" and maybe even to much for any great band. The audio always seems crappy and off as well.  I think they are suited for pop and hip hop performers... people with dancers and that probably lip sync. I expect Bruce to have a bad performance and that be the end of the half on to quarter three of the Superbowl.

I think by now after 20 years , Guns n Roses has became big and safe enough to play it. They had Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen play it. To me ...if they are getting artists who are great....after Bruce Springsteen  , its Axl's turn to play this Halftime show.

The show is watched by millions of people. It would cap the return that Guns n Roses has done.

If this were to happen in the future it would make me actually want to watch the halftime show which I rarely do.

I think with the reputation of GNR being this dangerous band though they wouldn't want to take a chance though which is a shame because it would be one badass performance.
