2nd semester has started back.

Clinical orientation is Tuesday. I am nervous as hell but it will be fine once I get over the initial awkwardness of meeting new people and getting into a routine. U are always afraid of making a big goof or looking like a retard. So once I get comfortable It will be cool.

This semester is definitely gonna be rough. We got our Syllabus and our list of assignments and I am gonna be busy as hell studying and doing reports.

Also, as the President, I have to think of Fundraisers and organize various other charitable stuff, so that is also gonna be time consuming.

oh well.... after this semester, the rest will be a lot more easy and a lot less stressful.

how is everyone doing 2nd semester?

I finished college 3 years ago this week.

Huge waste of time.
It's only a huge waste of time if you study something that gives you no real job skills.  It always makes me laugh when people make weird major choices (not saying you did) and then complain when that degree doesn't help them get a job.

If you want specific skills, go into accounting or engineering, or do graduate work in Law or Medicine.  Believe me, those fields pay off when you get to the job market.

i got two friends who both have Bachelor's Degrees

one graduated from University of Tennessee the other University of Xavier

the one that graduated UT works for a phone place that anyone with a High school Diploma can

and the other works as a front desk clerk in a Hotel...........

I feel bad for them that they went that long and spent all that money and effort to have jobs a high school graduate does.

Classes for me start up again next monday. All the good ones were taken when it was my turn to pick, so I got stuck with two posc classes and american government among others. That shit doesn't do me any good considering what my major is.

not at all, but if u are going to go 4 to 5 years of college, drop close to 100k, u should at least be rewarded with a high paying career.

If they were gonna do those jobs, they could've saved a lot of time and money. Just sucks to bust your ass for that many years for nothing.

that is why when i went back, I made sure I got into a medical profession. Once u get a degree in that, u never have to worry about being unemployed and u make back tons on your investment.
