Just wanted to share with my fellow Gunners a recent posting of mine on Facebook when asked to Post a pic of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day.  Day 6's task of a 30-day challenge I'm participating in for my family and friends.

Thought you guys might enjoy it.

Day 06 - A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day.

W. Axl Rose.

Won't lie one bit. I'd love to know what's like to walk out in public for two seconds and watch everyone freeze in their tracks and frantically ruffle through their pockets and purses, struggling to find their cameras before I'm gone.

To have tens of thousands of people I've never met or even seen before, some skipping their bills or selling their belongings to earn a chance to wait all night, waiting for me to take the stage to give them a couple hours of my time. A couple hours that they'll hold in their memories & hearts forever.

To experience the moment after the show when I take just two seconds of my time to pose for a pic, or extend my hand for a shake, or even open my arms for a hug and feel a total stranger's spine tingle and shiver as their tears of sheer joy and happiness dampen my shirt.

To be revered on stage as arguably the most charismatic frontman of all time in any genre, yet remain shrouded in total mystery off of it.

To have millions of devoted followers maintain a network of news, press releases, pics, bootlegs, quotes, tweets, clippings, anything related to me; and stop their day to hop online and talk to complete strangers about it.

To suddenly show up in total surprise to one of today's mainstream rock/metal bands parties -- and watch in the span of ten seconds as not only their fans completely turn away from them and flock to my presence, but so do they.

To have been just one member in a legendary band that had mainstream America along with the rest of the world in the palms of their hands, to now be without all the other members and realize that not one person out in that sea of humanity cares. They still go through the same trouble to get a ticket, to share their evenings with me and say they witnessed a legend doing what he does best.

Wow.

Yea, ain't gonna lie one bit. I'd love to know what it's like.

I don't.

I mean, he's one of my hero but mustn't be easy being Axl.
