So RHCP have done a 50,000 gig at Knebworth Park, Knebworth  this weekend, could GNR ever fill that many?
I know we did two o2 arena shows.. so i guess that would be amount to that much.

I would love it if they did do a gig there next year as its near my home town, a GNR gig there could be epic!

suggestion to jarmo... hint to band to go to knebworth please Cheesy Lots of big bands have been there just GNR havent just yet

Having been to Knebworth to see RHCP yesterday, I can definitely say that I never want to go there again. The gig itself was fantastic, but it took me, at 49,999 others hours and hours  to get away from the grounds.

If Gn'R do a massive outdoor gig in the South East, I hope it's Wembley Stadium, or if they can't manage to fill that, somewhere like the Emirates. (Hyde park is out of the question - they are really strict with curfews there).

I was there yesterday, the chilli's were ok but didn't blow me away. My main point is in relation to the actual experience of the venue regardless of the band. I think in this respect Knebworth is a long way behind Milton Keynes Bowl which is far superior. I really struggled to see the band last night because of the angle of the hill and I know a lot of other people struggled with this. Saw Foo Fighters at MK Bowl last year and had a much better view/experience.

In relation to GnR playing a big gig, I think that it would be amazing and I am sure that they could sell 50,000-60,000 tickets, especially if they had some great support acts on to get the crowd going. Would love to see it but I think a new album would be my preferred choice.

The RHCP's were good but after seeing Axl and the boys twice last month, I can say that they didn't come close to matching GnRs intensity.  peace
