I can't say I'm particularly sad about it.  I've never listened to The Replacements, so the "street cred" he is said to have from that doesn't really register for me.  More importantly, I can't say that any of the songs on Chinese Democracy have basslines that really jump out at me - certainly not to the extent that I'd rather have him in the band than Duff (especially if the setlist is going to be dominated by songs that Duff played and had a role in shaping originally).

Good luck to the guy, but I'm not wistful about his departure.

when i first came around, i thought people knew what they are talking about. now i realize that there are no authorities on a gnr message board. nobody knows where this band is going, despite how confidently they say so or how many posts they have. truth is, everyone is just as much in the dark as the next guy. Just an observation i had recently.

Are you serious? Have you seen some of the stuff people are taking for granted, "confirming" claims what "we" to "know"?  rofl

No one know shit, the ones who do, won't say anything. That's all I know with my 11k posts.

haha. yeah, reunion put it all on the table i think. if this can happen, anything can happen. never say never with this band.

People have lives to live and dreams to fulfill. The GN'R bus, people get on, people get off. It's fun.

are you the same Mysteron who was spawning false rumors in 2002?

Aye. Many years ago.  hihi
