the new GnR have a really good chemestry onstage. when i went to the chicago gig we were blown away. my friend nick was goin insane during any of bucketheads fast solo's especially nightrain! and the band really shines during paradise city. even my friend max who didnt like GnR at all even said after the show was over that he has a new respect for GnR. he now owns nearly all of GnR's cd's. all the people i want with that night were really into them, and finck really clicked with me and Max because we are both artistic people and we both understood finck.

the people who i was with were mostly teenagers. and the other teenagers that were in the crowd that i could see were having a awsome time!! on the way out a few of them were talking about how kick ass they were. it was a really awsome show and everyone had a awsome time. one guy was talkin bout how buckethead really shreads. and the conversation in the car on the way back to where i live we talked about how the band really rocks and how it is pure genious to have a pure shreader and then on the other hand have a very emotional guy there and they play very well together!

the Original Guns n' Roses was a real band
the "new" Guns n' Roses is just a band with a singer, and 6 or 7 "employees" around him who could be fired at EVERY MOMENT. That's not how Rock n' Roll is or should be. People are not stupid. we see it. we feel they don't have "it". Nothing special. look at the PARIS'92 show and you'll understand how Rock n' Roll should be played.
If that was the case how come these group of guys have been together since 98/99?
If that was the case how come Axl hasnt fired robin a zillion times? Robin has said he and axl have always fought about shit and music.
If that was the case how come Robin is back in the band even after he left?

Im sick n tired of this rock n roll bullshit. Rock n roll is something undefined. Thats what makes it rock n roll. Its not supposed to be by the book. Half of you people cant get over the past and thats fine. The past was great. And they created their own rock n roll vibe in history.

This band isnt that kind of rnr. They are their own.  Members come and go. In a perfect world you would love to see any original lineup dominate for years. But being its rnr that doesnt happen often.

If you cant get over the fact that this band calls themselves gnr tough fukin shit. This band has great chemistry.

You dont think they do because they dont run around liek slash used to? Wow that dsefines chemistry. This band is always joking around with each other on stage and shit liek that. Watch every pc they fukin go crazy.
the funnyt thing is on one hand you people critisize them for playing the old songs and then the same peopel say they dont show any emotion when playing those songs. No shit. its not there songs.

They have done a great job when playing the old material. They have sucked it up and just had fun wth it.

You peopel think bucket doesnt care or wann abe there because he doesnt move around that much. lol no way?

I saw the new lineup in Minneapolis. Robin actually interacted really well with the crowd but could tell he wasn't too hyped to be playing Sweet Child O Mine. That's just the feeling I had. On some of the rockers like out to get me and brownstone, rocket queen and PC he was really into it. Tommy was hyped the whole show and really into the crowd and Axl. But it was his homecoming! Buckethead... I don't know what to think about him. He's a good player but I"m not really into his thing. Richard was by far the most energetic and interacted the most with the rest of the band especially tommy and axl. Also with the crowd. Brain? He looked bored to me. The show kicked ass though. I also saw the old lineup twice and Axl never really interacted with the others too much in my opinion. None of the guys really were into the crowd either, more into themselves I thought.
One more note, the show with the new band at Target center blew the other two away. The band sounds awesome live.

the LONDON docklands show was awesome i was standing in the queue waiting to go in next to some dude dressed as Buckethead i remember seeing him while weezer was on at the front while i was sitting middle back. When GNR came on two songs into set Axl spotted the guy and asked him for the hat which he got and then went on to perform with the KFC hat on for a couple of songs it dosnt show up on VCD footage as some wanker recorded it and kept talking and hiding camera. But i though axls interaction was pretty good seemed better at LEEDS though.

Let's just say as we were all leaving the arena in the middle of the worst snow storm and the whole street was singing patience out loud it was the coolest thing.

I forgot about that! That was cool - but what wasn't cool was the fact I was driving a 5.0 Mustang Cobra and it took me 6 hours and about 12 good samaritan pushes to get back to Hamilton. (usually a 1 hour drive)  I was at both shows too - Toronto Row 4 - London Row 17.  Those shows back to back were amazing.  Toronto was slightly better though, I thought.

I've seen them twice and never noticed chemistry one way or the other. Buckethead has no chemistry with anyone, which is kind of his thing, so that doesn't matter to me. Axl seems to have an avuncular relationship with most of the band.... sort of like he says, it's the "Uncle Axl" thing. I really didn't think there was a ton of chemistry with the UYI lineup either, at least between Axl and the others. So there's not much lost there. Probably the only time chemistry is really apparent is between Tommy and Fortus, which is no surprise since they are good friends. Musically they sound very tight regardless of chemistry.
