i dont dig destiny's child but ive been questioned alot as to how i love prince the same as GNR but good music is good music regardless of style, i feel sorry for people who limit themselves to one genre of music cause u are really missing out by doing that.

I prefer Rock n' Roll, Metal is just not my kind of thing. and for me GN'R is Rock n' Roll, not Metal.

Personally, I also prefer rock 'n' roll to metal.? That's why I generally listen more to 80s bands like Def Leppard, Motley Crue, and Guns, which I consider to be "hard rock".? This said, metal is great too - Megadeth are one of my favourite bands these days, and of course Maiden and Metallica are always great.? I guess where I (maybe) differ with hardcore metal fans is that I hate shit like Slayer or anything harder/heavier; at that point, it becomes just noise to me.

As for Destiny's Child...personally, I think they suck.? Or at least they're not my kind of thing.? Beyonce was better solo, just because "Crazy In Love" was a good song.

'Like a lot of mainstream Urban/'R&B' music, 'Lose my Breath' is all fart and no shit, I'm afraid. I liked 'Crazy in Love', though, but only for the horns (which were sampled, anyway).

I get the same sort of hassle. I agree though, a lot of people dismiss certain songs out of hand, before even listening to them, because they are not in a genre that they like. This is a real shame, as having diverse tastes in music, or anything for that matter, just makes things so much more interesting.
