What happened to em? Are they still mates or what? The last thing I remember Axl saying about Izzy was that he was a shit Guitarist. Do they still communicate?

I don't think they've spoken for a long time
I think Izzy, one time, tried to get back to being friends with Axl and even brought some of his material to Axl but Axl wouldn't talk to him (I think I heard this here on this message board)
They definatly ain't mates?

How come they hate each other? I thought when Izzy left all was cool between em and theb there were rumours of Izzy rejoining in like 1995 or something?
