I think its a great idea     bands re-record or remix songs all the time.  Motley Crue redid shout at the devil in 1997.  Why can't Guns re-release some of those AFD tracks?  the band sounds better then the original band on most of the songs and I'd like to see how the studio versions of those songs sound with a more talented and modern lineup

Tell me how you can improve upon a masterpiece?  AFD is a once in a lifetime occurence.  To rerecord it is to sell out for the money.  Asshole Rose is having enough problems with Chinese so lets cross that bridge first then we'll see...
