I'm hopin it's the first one there. But that's just by the setlist maybe VR performed better on the second one there. But the first definitely has a batter setlist IMO.

Just wondering if they'll have to come up with some cash to "sell" the covers of those STP & GNR songs? Anyone with an idea how this works, especially since they weren't on the VR album already.

actually - they will get paid separately again for these songs.  Any gn'r or stp (or nirvana, etc) covers played live, will result in performance royalties to the writers of the original tracks.  There would be more ? for all of them, apart from matt and dave I guess.

You reckon they're gonna be allowed to release stuff like Mr Brownstone? Undecided

Ya, I'd expect so.

It might cost them a bit but I don't think they'll get too much resistance.

Just speculating..

I am really looking forward to this dvd. I think it would be cool if they also had some bonus footage of later dates of the tour so we can get performances of Dirty Little Thing and You Got No Right as well. If it is put together half as good as the STP Thank You dvd it will be good.

Cheesy? It's your basic acoustic song. It's probably the most carefree song Guns ever wrote.

Anyone here any recent news regarding the release of the DVD ? I for one am anxious to get my hands on this. I would say it is a safe bet this will be released around the Christmas season.
