The late Freddie Mercury would have turned 60 this September 5th, and a special event is being put together in London in his honour. That night, a special version of the Queen musical We Will Rock You will be staged in the West End, with guest appearances, script changes, and birthday presents. Afterward, those gifts will be auctioned off to benefit the Mercury Phoenix Trust, which is the AIDS charity set up by the surviving members of Queen following Mercury's death in November 1991 at age 45.

i cant imagine freddie at 60. grey moustache, balding hair and a walking stick instead of a mic stand lol it just wouldnt be right, the guy was a legend. i always thought that axl is 'the heterosexual freddie mercury'
