I work in retail and today on the bob stores radio welcome to the jungle came on. I never in a million years thought guns n roses would be played on the radio at a clothing store. Funny shit.

Interesting
we have an "in-house" radio station in the office I work and predictably its very 'middle of the road'. the only GnR song thats ever played is 'patience', but damn it always sounds killer !  beer

Well, at my clothing store I have converted all the girls that work there to GN'R, so it's basically weird NOT to listen to GN'R when you're there...  Grin

It's not that suprising considering that GNR are a very casual band. In some trendy teenage department stores you can find GNR shirts right next to Avenged Sevenfold, Blink 182, and Linkin Park. GNR are very mainstream and corporate no matter how dangerous they tried to look. Now, if they had been playing Opeth then I would have have surprised.

We had the radio on at school in Art class once and Patience came on. Funny, because Iw as listening to my Mp3 player in that class and it came on the radio straight after it had been on my Mp3 player.  peace

Yeah, things like that are funny. I was in the Netherlands recently, in Heerlen, which is only half an hour by car from where I live. I bought some stuff in the Bart Smit toystores there. There are two of these stores in Heerlen. When I was in the first one they played KOHD, and right the moment I entered the second store, I heard the opening of SCOM.

Made my day  Grin
