Hey Yorkie,

can you tell me more about that rant ? I don't have a lot of bootlegs from the 2002 Tour. In fact I'm catching up with GN'R beer

From Leeds festival in England, they were late on and the licence for the event finished at midnight so the promoters told him he had to finish, and they were about half way through the set, he said something like
I didn't come all the way to fucking England to be told to go back home by some fucking asshole. Then something about the press giving him shit for the last 8 years. Then said he doesn't want to cause a riot and he'll stay and the crowd stay and no one try to get in trouble and we'll see what happens.
Then the piano solo thing into november rain, at the break in the song he says someone's given them more time and hammers out the end of the song.
Was a quality moment and a brilliant show. Can't wait for dublin.

Psychologically, you could consider this a reunion tour because I`ve managed to find enough pieces of my mind in order to be with you here tonight - - Axl Rose, Chicago 2002

Scott Weiland should not be given exposure if even in the form of an Axl rant. Axl should just stick to playing the music and forget all the rant stuff as it's just not worth it.

Axl's rants are an indispensable part of the Guns n Roses show.

Axl's rants are an indispensable part of the Guns n Roses show.

Definitly. The guy speak his mind onstage and unleash the flow, I've always liked that, even if for me the music does the talking. But Axl's rants are somehow parts of the shows.

Thankx Yorkie for the Leeds notes ok
