Robin played a (Gibson) Black Beauty at the Oslo July 8th show...  love

He also played a (Gibson) Goldtop. He really likes these I think.

Axl also inroduced him as "And on the Goldtop.. Mr. Robin Finck".

was it really a black beauty, the one with three pic ups? i thought it was just some sort of regular black custom with two pick ups... might be wrong tho...

anyway, wonder why he has his pickup switch moved from the regular position to the tone control on bridge pickup... he has this on all his les pauls i think...

i'd say its to prevent him hitting it while strumming, that happens to me sometimes and can be very annoying!

it wasnt a black beauty... the BB has that mark on its head... that one didnt.

It's actually in place of the neck pickup tone knob, he also has the volume removed and uses the bridge pickup volume and tones as a master control for both.
