Axl4Prez2004, it may be funny for you, but how many people have misssed the last train home because of Axl being so inconsiderate?  He should be able to, and can get an atmosphere going whenever he goes onstage, he doesn't need to wait.

It's not a rock concert unless the star turns up late. What do the fans expect, a punctual, perfectly turned out gentleman? Yeah, that's going to happen...

Gargh, I don't mean to be a dick, but if every phase of your trip has to be planned perfectly, maybe a rock show isn't for you.  Loosen up, grab a cab...drive your car...make arrangements.
Like I said, save the regiment for work and real responsibility.  We've waited over a decade for an album from GNR and people are going to complain about a few hours?  I'm always amazed by these posts.

I was in Boston, '02, and the show was amazing.  Did it go past the mass transit time?  Hell yeah!  Did I care?  Hell no!  Did I walk out of the Fleet Center to see the 1st snowfall for me of the year?  Yes.  Did I enjoy this?  Hell yeah!  Did we grab a cab?  You bet.  Shit like that I'll never forget...especially when it's with friends.   yes

A hell of alot of other legendary rock bands/frontmen have no problem going on stage on time, and the majority of the time they always do.

Why should everyone reschedule there plans/have to wait for Axl to go on stage. He should just go on stage on the right time instead of people trying to work around him, if not then he gets the fines and he pays them.

im so dissapointed cause my buddies won't hit vegas for the concert...cause of the vancouver riot...left a lot of people bitter and hateful towards axl... not everyone is so forgiving and understanding in the US to his antics in comparison to other places... but why would a promoter pull the plug if they know he will show up...just very late...

i dont give a shit when he goes on ill hang around til whenever to just see the man once before i die.

but the casual fan who hasnt seen them since 92 and is looking to get back into it is gonna get pissed as shit.  at the philly show people were booing their asses off even before we all realized he wasnt coming.  i mean christ people probably have work the next day.
