I Won't Be Told Anymore

« on: December 23, 2006, 07:28:09 AM »

I wonder if anyone here is any the wiser regarding the laws on band merchandise?  I'll look into it more myself... but just easier to ask lol.  There's alot of GNR merchandise around at the moment T shirts, belts, Leather jackets, posters....even Poker sets!  I just wonder how much of thse are actually given approval? Because i can't imagine Axl giving so many companies permission.

Or are they allowed to use the name but not the image? or are there ways around it all?   Just interested to know.  I'd imagine to gain approval/official license, would cost the company more money than it would be worth?
