rolling stone magazine was talking a lot of bad things about gunsnroses

basically rs always was pretty respectfull when it came to reporting about gnr. they always brought them back to the public, as soon as? anything happened in the gnr world. they considerer "better" as one of the best tracks axl and gnr had ever written. irs, they said, is already better than vr.? appetite got 5 stars out of five when it came out. uyi got four and even spaghetti got a great review. they also had a nice and friendly review from the cd-tour 06. why are you so pissed abour rs? i always had the feeling that they are doing nice pr work for axl...

They would be too small in the cover if it is a picture of the whole band...

Axl would probably only agree to do it if the rest of the band was on the cover as well.

I think that would be a nice gesture on Axl's part but I doubt it will happen.  no

It'll probably only be Axl on the cover with a big writeup and pics of him and the whole band on the inside.  smoking

Rolling Stone is a piece of shit magazine that believe it or not did not like zeppelin and pink floyd.

I dont believe for a moment axl would insist on the rest of the band being in photo shoots of any kind. altho i think he should really make sure they are percieved as a band in every possible sense once the album is out/when promo starts - but dont necassarily believe every effort will be made to do that.

zeppelin and floyd were/are shit. a few people probly like 'em, most just listen to 'em coz they think they should, coz of the exalted status they undesevedly have. imho, of course.

BS, get the whole band on the cover of RS.  That would probably be the coolest thing in the last 15yrs.

Zeppelin and Floyd are shit?  Wow!  Where did you get your musical taste from?  They're both great bands.  Be respectful of the past.

Yeah I don't get that.. I know there are alot of Zep fan boys and just the name gets dragged thru alot and there #1 at everything but, Zeppelin was the greatest Rock N' Roll band ever. I can't even call them overrated, they deserve their legendary status

A full band pic on the cover of RS would solidify this lineup for me. I don't think Great music magazines? exist anymore but? Rolling Stone does it's thing and is read by lots of casual fans

Thats the thing i dont get - the respect for the past obsession. i have no respect for the past present or future, just my musical taste. you may disagree with it but its just my taste.

Why can't Axl talk about it?  Why can't BBF or Frank talk about it?  THIS IS YOUR OWN FRIGGIN ALBUM!  I'm so sick of being left in the dark.  We get an vague "update" every few months if we are lucky.  This is stupid.

Sorry, my rant is over.  Now back to your regularly scheduled program.   ok
Maybe because people and/or fans tend to overanalyze things and take them to heart. Or maybe because things don?t work the way they are planned, shit happens and that causes delays, or maybe because they want to wait untill the record is out to speak freely and without the risk of their words to be taken out of context, who knows?
