I see no problem.
Murderers are animals
Not subject to rights.
"Cruel", "Unusual"...
Words to take focus off guilt.
My opinion. Yours?

It's too late ... i have to prepare some stuff for a meeting tomorow
i'm too far on the left of the axis, it wouldnt be useful to discuss.
In some people mind i even "try to understand kamikaze and terrorist in palestine ..." can you believe that? THAT is how far i am
edit : to some people, i might even be .... an anti semite !!
but i prison has an objective it certainly not to treat people like animals.
i would give Ben Laden all the respect human prisoners deserve, i would give him a regular prison bed, food 3 times a day, a trial, a phone call. clean clothes.
that's me.

The state must hold the moral high ground.
Without that, we lose any right to condemn the actions of others.
We're better than the crimanals - but only if we prove so

I didnt realise you were the state (must just be because you're a Liverpool fan.)
Seriously, you make the point perfectly. For the same reason western cultures shouldnt torture terrorists we shouldnt exact 'revenge' on prisoners.

The USA incarcerates 3.5 million people . Thats is one percent of the population . More than ANY other country . 25% of all people in jail on this planet are serving time in Amerika . Half of those are drug related . Something is fucked up .
DECRIMINALIZE DRUGS NOW
As to your question , I hope the Pigs are tried and convicted and have to serve time in the same institution in which the atrocity occured .

This guy gets thrown in prison and shortly thereafter meets his cell mate.
Cell Mate: Which would you rather be? The husband or the wife?
(After thinking about it for a brief moment) New Guy: Uh......husband.
Cell Mate: Well then get over here and suck your wife's dick.

We'll i'd hope we were the state, unles its become a seperate entity imposed on us?
Surely its the product of the people, their values, beliefs, hopes and fears?
If WE are not the state - then who is?

Ladies and Gentlemen - Tony Blair's Britain!
he said the exact thing in his resignation speach today. it doesnt matter what the people think on a matter; he sincerely, in his heart of hearts, did what he thought was right.
