That article has a lot of factual problems

1. Jon's mother runs the fanclub

2. They aren't making u pay shit. U CHOOSE TO PAY

3. They get excellent seats for concerts WITHOUT paying extra. I know, I have been to concerts and members get a wrist band and a special section.

4. Jon actually did a meet and greet WITH CONCERT in Florida a couple years ago where everyone was treated with a concert and an autograph meet and greet.

What they DONT tell u is, Most of those 3,000 dollar tickets are for Habitat for Humanity and countless other charities Jon is involved with. Its not like he is robbing people of their money.

A greedy person doesn't donate millions of dollars and tons of time to help rebuild destroyed inner city neighborhoods in philadelphia.

People should do research before labeling someone.

These fans are just ridiculous and lunatics

Wait till the BJ tour starts and they will shut up when they are receiving amazing tickets.

I like how they mention the wait time as if its Jon himself sitting at the ticketmaster circuit board.

How bout the censored message forum.

HAHAHA sounds like another forum i know. hihi

I have read problems with that fan club in the past, i am not a Bon Jovi fan at all , it is just pretty crazy they would do that if it is a valid article. One thing is valid in that article and that is about Pearl Jam, all bands need to take a lesson off those guys in the way too treat there fans. The bootleg stuff they release, there fan club etc. That is how it should be alot of bands miss the boat with the way they they run there "Official Site's. Even MEtallica does a damn good job of utilizing the net for fans. def Leppard is another band that comes to mind about there fan club and how they maintain there site. It is a complete rip off and joke. You get a really cheesy shirt and access to a seperate message board, that is non sense. Also heard VR's fan club is a total rip off aswell.

The DMB fan club is pretty good too with how it treats it's fans.

I don't know who is paying 3000 for tix though.  Even here in the NY/NJ area the highest tix for that VIP experience are 1000.  It does say you need to buy them in pairs though but even still that is 2000, still a far cry from 3000.

JBJ does give a lot back to the community.  This is true.

I hate the BJ fan club. Firts what sucks is the name : Backstage with Jon Bon Jovi, changed by Jon in '92. It was Backstage with Bon Jovi before, wich I assume was normal. I'm a fan of the band, not Jon only.

Secondly their appetite for our money makes me sick. So I've never registered there.

Worst fan club I've been a part of was the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I ended up with seats in the lower arena........ So much for fanclub ticket perks. U also basically get nothing.

Prince had by far the best fanclub.

twice I saw him front row thanks to the fan club.

One year around Christmas time i woke up with a package on my door.

It was from the fanclub and it was the brand new 50 dollar box set for free. What a surprise!

Inside was also a very rare limited copy of One Nite Alone with Prince, Piano and voice.

There are only maybe 5,000 copies of that in existance and I had two which i stupidly sold for 100 dollars each cause i needed money.
