Would you buy it?

We have Shackler's already.  If there was a pack with say Chinese Democracy, There Was a Time and Better would you be keen?

Absolutely...I'd love to see GNR follow up what Metallica and Oasis have done by releasing the entire CD on either Rock Band or Guitar Hero.

After Shaklers Revenge on Rock band, a 2002 'Buckethead Solo' Nightrain would be a cool one off download. Imagine doing that Solo!!!!

I'd love it if at least the CD single was available on RB2 asap.

amen to that....then of course the whole album shortly after its release....

funny, I went with xbox rather than Ps3 because they  offered the watered down "arcade" unit which was much much cheaper.  I had no reason or desire to play online nor needed a hardrive to do so.  Well if GNR has downloadable RB2 content,  I will have to pony up some bucks to get the harddrive and wireless internet adapter....should a went with ps3 if this ends up being the case...

This is probably just BS, I don't have a source, but my friend who plays GH/RB all the time said he heard that Chinese Democracy was coming out on Rock Band DLC or whatever the store is. He isn't a big GNR fan, but apparently he heard a rumor on some site.

I personally just got a RB2 (just a week after getting a PS3) and all I can is I'd love it! This game is addictive. I can see why all my friends were hooked on Guitar Hero for the last year or two.

Lets cross our fingers for something.

Simply can't get much better than this!!!

« Reply #16 on: October 26, 2008, 09:39:12 AM »

We have both RB and GH, I bought the RB with Shacklers even though I barely play either of them, as long as anything GNR is involved it is a must have whether I personally use it or not. My kids play though, one of them cheated to get to Shacklers right away lol.  So I would definately by it if it were to surface, prolly lean more twards hope for GH though. Wink

I got RB2 when it came out last week on PS3 and love it so far.  I think a GNR pack would fit the game perfectly.  Maybe something like they've done with other bands like a modified greatest hits type thing that would include all the classic songs and then some new CD stuff.  It wouldn't surprise me if the people at Harmonix have already attempted to license a GNR pack or could be already doing it.  I'd buy it in a second.
