Use Your Illusion I (1991)

« on: May 15, 2008, 02:19:32 PM »

They have a new cd coming finally, just got announced. 7-22-08

"Into The Sun" is the album title, you can listen to the new single on their myspace account here:

http://www.myspace.com/candlebox

They also put out cds in 1993, 1995, and 1998 for those of you aren't familiar with them. They stuck to their sound on this new song.

That sound like Old School Candlebox!

Good stuff. I loved that band back in the day when Far behind was on MTV & VH1 constantly.

Yeah Happy Pills is an underrated album. I have it.

It has better songwriting than the self titled album, and it's musically better than Lucy, so it's kinda in the middle of the albums.

Nice that they are back indeed.

Anyone have Into the Sun? I bought i a little while ago and I think it's great. This band doesn't get nearly enough respect from critics, a lot of people treat them like a wannabe grunge group, but they're just a solid rock band.

Breathe Me In (intro) and the actual song are fantastic. Might be my favorite Candlebox moment ever.

If anyone bought this from iTunes, they have a bonus track that I'd like to hear, but I went with buying the physical album because I like having the real case and everything.

The new album's pretty good--but I kind think they blew their wad on the first album.

Cool that someone looked this thread up.

Great band, saw them live in Knoxville, TN

Kickass show seriously, got to see the originals together, the bassist has since left again I believe.

New record is solid, as good as their first one maybe, or not quite as good, but close.

Their self titled is great, anyone who is anyone must own it
