So now all the Circuit City stores in the US are closing their doors.

Got any good deals lately there? Figured I'd start a thread so everyone can give tips for everyone else!  beer

Not surprising.  One of the longest standing stores in my home town closed up right after Christmas.  I remember thinking "this doesn't look good."

Best Buy beat'em out here.  Wonder if they're the culprit everywhere else.

I saw an article on Yahoo about this...it warned that just because they're closing not to go out and buy into all their deals...for example, you buy a new flat screen TV at a great deal, if it's fucked, your fucked as well cause you can't bring it back.

That is sad, but several years ago I think it all started with them firing all of their commission paid employees and getting people who really didn't care and didn't know the company to replace them.

I watched something as well and some of the people interviewed said that there really were not that many great deals at this time, and that they may possibly get better as time passes and they are more desperate to unload.  Regardless it is sad Undecided

I like Circuit City prices rather than Best Buy, but their set-up is horrible and they give horrid customer service, even when they had good employees...

I guess Best Buy is the answer.

Dumb-ass suits got greedy.  Keep 'em working on commission...just change the commission structure.
