I think the question is, why didn't the dad get the help he obviously needed before it got this bad.  no People don't usually just go insane, the signs must've been there.  Undecided

My first partner had a dad who tried to do this to all three kids.

But, they lived obviously...

But, what a foul thing to try to do to your own children.

I can't fucking STAND people who harm children.  EVEN when they're annoying little shits who just won't stop crying...you never, never, EVER take a violent hand to a child. EVER. there is rampant child abuse in NZ, and every day I read about another baby in hospital thanks to a so-called parent or caregiver...makes me wish I had a gun...!!

God, and what about the boys who saw their daddy kill their sister??  Jesus Christ on a cracker, what the fuck is going to happen to those kids?
