Emergency/Timebomb/GNR4Ever is re-uploading his awesome all in 1 Flac Packs by Year on the GNR Tracker with updated scans. So far hes done 87,88,91,93,06. I've been grabbing all the Aces High/Ingram Suicide/Power Gate releases as they seem to be the hardest to find scans for. I'm cleaning/cropping/straightning them the best i can. I've posted some and will be posting more in the CD Covers Thread

Not going to lie...I had my doubts when I posted it but generally the lossy source drop off after 14k and this drop off after 17k
And another thing that confuses me is that lossy source have no activity after 14k and this have some activity (low, but it's something) after the drop off at 17k

Sincerely is tough but if it helped to realize people that "Another Marquee Tape" is a lossy, I think is good anyway.

This is an example of a lossy source analysis

I think is lossless but I won't be surprise if is lossy

lossy source have no activity after 14k

that's not exactly accurate. That could be right talking about ''classic'' 128 kbps lossy files like MP3/OGG/WMA, but there are plenty of examples of lossy sources that show HUGE activity after 14k, basically high bitrate lossy encodings. Some examples:

in a 256 kbps MP3 lame file encoded at a constant bitrate, you can clearly see that there's HUGE activity after 14k. Much more than that:there's (solid) activity in all the 15-20k range. At the right, same ''track'' but in its original source, a 1411 uncompressed WAVE file.

mp3 lame cbr 192 kbps > activity after 14000hz

mp3 lame cbr 128 kbps ''classic encoding'' > the frequency abruptly drops in 15000hz

...and, with fluctuant results in a freq-analysis software, all variable bitrate MP3 encodings show activity after 14 kz.

Finally, we have uncompressed audio files extracted from FM or/and MINIDISCS which show lossy-alike frequency graphics, and they're both considered in almost all trading communities like ''lossless'', i mean, ''''''''''''''''collectable'''''''''''''.

Maybe the bootlegs companies "kills" the high frequencies when they remaster the shows...
