I'm all for a mass protest against Xfactor, but really...



They could appeal to the masses a bit better with their adds, not just the fans of Scuzz TV.

Band planning huge free show as a thank you...

Rage Against The Machine's "Killing In The Name" sits atop the UK songs chart this week, breaking the five year streak held by winners of "The X Factor". The band sold over 500,000 copies of their song in one week via download, the most in UK history. They bested "X Factor" winner Joe McElderry's cover of Miley Cyrus' "The Climb" by over 50,000.

Just before announcing victory, RATM promised that, should they win, they would stage a huge free UK concert in 2010. To top it off, they would also invite "X Factor" creator Simon Cowell to MC the show.

Rage guitarist Tom Morello stated yesterday, "Attention Freedom Fighters! RAGE VS. X-FACTOR WILL BE DECIDED BY SATURDAY'S SALES. Spread the word! Knock on doors! Host downloading parties! Knock over ladies buying X-Factor! The clock is ticking. And if ?Killing in the Name' is No. 1, WE ARE COMING. And it will be the victory party to end all victory parties."
go see 'em.. i'm surprised i survived the show i saw with them, craziest concert i've been on

i was pissed off they didnt tour UK and only did festival dates. So hopefully this is my chance
