Goin' to the NAMM SHOW in LA next Week!!!

What's up guys!
I'm going to NAMM in LA next week, any of you will be there?? I work for a instrument company and some of us will be there representing our company from Brazil
Will be my first time in USA!! I'm from Brazil!
From my hotel (that's close to Disneyland and the NAMM) to Holywood is like an hour or so, and I was think in trying to go to Viper room, rainbow, whyskey a go go, roxy, key club... how hard is to get in on those places? and how much it cost??

Hello RnT.  I hope you enjoy your time in my beautiful city.

Anaheim is about 30 miles away from Los Angeles, hope you have transportation.

The Rainbow just has a cover charge, I think $10 on the weekends.  But they give you two drink tickets, and you were probably gonna down a few so it's nothing.  It isn't hard to get in, maybe if it was 1983, yeah. 

The Whiskey is a shitty venue, but if you must go there, then by all means go ahead. 

The Key Club is closed for renovations.

The Viper Room...uhhh, it depends on who is playing...on a weekday, tickets shouldn't be more than $10.

And all those places are easy to get into.

But if you want to have a great time, you go to the House of Blues on Monday night.

Steel Panther!  Every Monday!  It's a fun time I tell you.

DEFINITELY go to the Rainbow on a weekend, best is probably Sat. night. it is such a great place to people watch!

Let me say... Anaheim is a beautiful city!!!
I stayed at Sheraton hotel, in front of Downtown Disneyland! About 5 minutes far away to namm.

I went to NAMM back in 2000.  I got to meet Slash there, he was standing next to me trying to get into the Gibson room that was setup.  I also got to meet Nikki Sixx, Zakk Wylde, and a few other people.  I got to play a couple of songs with Jewel's guitarist in the Taylor Guitar area.  I know that's not a big deal but it was still pretty cool.  Later that night Slash was at the Viper Room, my cousin and I also met him there.
