I'm sure we've talked about this before, but I can't find the original topic.

Does anybody know where I can buy the Night Train Express?
I'm planning on going to New York, Hartford, Wilkes-Barre and Albany this November..

For some reason every liquor store in Grand Forks, ND seems to have it. Every time i go visit the workers usually remember me and tell me they remember me because I'm the only one who buys the stuff. Here in Vegas I found it at one really run down shitty lookin liquor store. Have you ever had it before? It's absolutly horrible. Nothing good can come from it. It says "Serve VERY cold" on the bottle for a reason. Even worse when your puking it back up.

So true...my buddies and I would drink it whenever we wanted to get really sloppy.  The asian lady at the mart knew who I was, because they always had to restock after I was in.

The first few ounces is horrible, so we would chug down to the train (label) all the time for our first drink.  Once you got past that first drink.....and within 5 minutes, you had permo smile and lost all care in the world.....it was fantastic!  Lotta great nights on that shit.  You literally didn't care what you did.

By the way, I played baseball in Grand Forks ND in 1998 and 1999 right there at Kraft Field during the summer in the Northwoods League

Haha, that's awesome. What we would do....there'd be 4 or 5 of us....we'd crank the song up, and pass the bottle around, and it'd have to be gone by the end of the song...over and over....to be totally honest though, the last time I was home...I cheated, and just pretended like I was drinking....I don't think my stomach could handle the stuff anymore. lol

One of my close buddies and I got to a point where we would each drink one full big bottle before we went out.  It was a perfect high with the bears on top later.  You turn into a new person.

The time we each went a little further and drank 1 1/2 bottles each....we were falling over.  Didn't do that again

Was always able to find it most anywhere down south.  They don't sell it in Pennsylvania anymore.  10 years ago...bottom shelf next to the Thunderbird.  Here in PA you can't even find beer at the grocery store or gas station, you need to go to a bar or distributor.  If you get stuck going to a bar, you can only carry out 12 beers at a time.

Thanks, but I'll only be in New York, Hartford, Wilkes-Barre and Albany and not for too long so I don't have time to get to another city just to get the drink lol

I guess with a little bit of luck I'll find it pretty easy, but I rather not waste my time there searching for a cheap wine. So if anybody knows a specific place in one of these cities.. tell me Wink
