It was a good time. Odd place for a show though, in a restaurant. Dizzy was just a special guest, so he only did played on 6 songs, and only sang a couple of those. They did Pretty Tied Up, UTLH, Surrender, Ziggy Stardust, Gimme Shelter, and Sweet Child. Although I think the highlight was Ron Jeremy doing the Star Spangled Banner on harmonica, lol. Dizzy's always great live, although it's better when he brings his own band. I really hope his solo album comes out someday, he's an amazing musician, from the solo songs I've heard thus far. Vastly underrated in my opinion.

When the hell is that album going to come out anyway... Roll Eyes

It just seems a tad rediculous that there's no mention of it at all anywhere, and it still don't seem close to being released... even in digital form. As long back as 2007, he had about 4 of those songs on his myspace, and they kicked arse, and feel the album should of been released around 2007-8 ish.

Let's not kid ourselves, it probably won't sell a huge amount as Dizzy is quite happy being a sort of underground guy with Hookers N' Blow and he don't seem to crave becoming bigger... he has that outlet with GN'R. So why not just release the album, I'm sure alot of GN'R fans would dig it, and it just should be out already.

Aaahh, I'm going on aren't I... hihi

I agree, the 5 or 6 songs that I got are great songs. Everyone in bands in Hollywood knows him and plays with him, lol, I knoew he could put out one hell of a rock n roll record, and who knows, it may even catch on. In my personal opinion, his solo stuff is the best of all the other members side stuff. He's got such a great voice.
