I read a while back that Timbaland was going to produce or collaborate with GNR, and Timbaland turned them down.. anyone else ever hear about this?

It could've been WAR instead of JT!

A quick Google search turned up nothing. Don't know where you're getting this from. And I hope they never collaborate. You heard the Chris Cornell mess didn't you?

You should have seen the cover they wanted to do. It wasn't a glove, believe me.

I don't think it's a far fetched rumor because Jimmy Iovine had asked Trent Reznor to do a collaboration w/ Timbaland and he flat out rejected it, and Axl was pretty much trying to do whatever he could to get ChiDem out. If he asked those two, odds are good he asked Axl.

Of course Reznor rejected it, he has musical integrity.

Wasn't there a remix planned for Chinese Democracy?
