Oh god. And seemed like yesterday I was at a GNR convention here celebrating the 20 years anniversary.

Also remember that I first heard AFD togheter with some Lies tracks in a recorded cassette back in 1989. Nightrain was cut in the ending and I spent a couple years without even knowing how the song actually ends.

And AFD was the first CD I heard at my fathers house in 1990. And also my first CD ever.

Tell me about it. I remember reading (or watching) an interview with Lars Ulrich in '97 in which I recalled he said Guns N' Roses should have released an album then since it was AFD 10 years anniversary! Next year, it will be 30 years!

Where was I in 1997? or worse, Where was I in 1987??

By the way, this saturday is Slash's birthday. I'm sure there'll be some kind of surprise on the show!

Back in 1997 (one of my happiest years by far haha) I was still looking for magazines to get any kind of info on the band.

Fun fact: Fiona Apple's Tidal (my other favorite debut album) is celebrating 20 years old on Saturday July 23rd:
