 Smiley everyone whose waiting for chinese democracy to come out is really waiting for the new axl rose band not gnr the new band is gnr in name only but axl is talented and it would be nice to here something from him

One suggestion: Just make sure a copy goes to the power people both @ Interscope AND at Sanctuary.

Maybe you could make your petition easier to get to, in order to generate more sigs. I put mine as my signature. That way the lazy guy would just click on it and sign.

would you happen to know what they do with the names & email addies that are collected?   Would each of us be alerted if there was a response from the GNR camp?   Would Axl send hate-mail to all of the signers? [j/k]

I ask b/c I'm trying to decide whether to put down my spam email address which I never check, or a real one.

Also, who is eventually going to see this petition?  Universal or Axl's management aka Sanctuary?

Do you know if any petition has ever been officially sent to the GNR camp? was there any response??

What will happen is that I'll get the form with everyones names and comments. I'll forward that with a title letter to some people, one of whom will be GNR's management, but the others will be worked out later. The band, management  and Axl will be aware of this petition. I do know of another petition but I believe it was dropped once the tour was announced. It was never sent.

Don't worry about hate mail or anything being sent to you, they're really just going to see your signature and comments. Their response will come back to me and I'll post it here.

7 weeks from this Wed. I'll send it off. So between now and then I want to get as many sigantures as I can. 7 weeks really isn't a long time (and I have my reasons for this ammount of time), so if anyone hasn't signed yet go ahead and make your mark, because I am going to put a deadline on it before then. So don't wait until the last minute if you want to sign it...

BTW - over 700 signatures so far ok
