I'm a llama!

My head's been spinning from all the rumors and posts here. I hate to create another post, but this idea just crossed my mind. Call me crazy, but if I had to come up with a solution and had the chance to get everyone in the same room (Axl, management, record executives, etc..) here is what I would propose:

1) Release the Greatest Hits CD on March 23. Have the first 100,000 copies be a limited edition that includes a bonus CD single featuring a brand new song that nobody has heard from the upcoming Chinese Democracy album.

2) Included with the single would be a small insert announcing that Chinese Democracy is being released June 2nd (or pick your date about 8-10 weeks after the GH release date) and would include more teasers about the album and world tour.
This way they can close the chapter on original GnR and get to promote the upcoming CD at the same time. Hardcore fans will buy the GH disc as a collector's item and to hear the new song. Casual fans will by the GH disc, and be (hopefully) pleasantly surprised to hear the new GnR sound, and be buzzed about the new CD.
Of course, we would need logic for this to happen, and this situation is anything but logical. I know this is a far-fetched idea but it seems awfully sensible to me.  beer

Sounds genius to me. I just can't see them logically releasing a Greatest Hits without some sort of at least insert about the new album.
