Came across this article about Dizzy performing and they refer to him as a former member?? Hope the Press just have it wrong again!  



Former Guns N' Roses keyboard player Dizzy Reed performs Saturday at
Cargo's Caf? in Windsor Locks. Reed's band features Hartford-area natives Alex Grossi and Matt Starr, who played with the Flames. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at door. The music starts around 8:45 p.m. Information: 860-623-1929

99.97% sure this is wrong.

Dizzy is good friend of Axl and is often doing his own thang on the side.

There is no reason for Dizzy to leave at this moment.

(Although same could have been said of bucket  nervous But I'm sure it wouldn't be announced by a small message on a unrelated web-site.)

(the site being down has been explained many times and does not indicate anything except Lars was being screwed by the hosting company so he took it down temporarily. The Dizzy forum is still there.)

I think the person who posted this thread at mygnr was referring to the press as saying former. I dont think the actual poster was saying that Dizzy had left.

Just my opinion!

Coming from mygnr.com=bullshit. Dizzy leaving=bullshit. Come on, you people are better then this. Buckethead may be gone and Brain might be leaving next but Dizzy's loyalty to Axl is unquestionable. I seriously doubt he's going anywhere until Axl calls it quits for good. He's been in the band 13 years, working on CD for 7-8, hes commited to Guns N' Roses. Cheesy

I never said that I believed it was true I was saying that the poster was referring to the press as saying former.

It appears that this was from an news article.

mygnr arent saying that Dizzy has left they are just saying that the press is saying he is former.

I THINK that's from the Hartford Courant. The Courants a pretty good paper, but the Arts and Entertainment editor sucks, as does their staff "rock" critic (and I mean that journalistically, rather than stylistically).... They get things wrong FAR too frequently, so my money is on this being BS (not to mention if Ballsy says it's BS..well, it's BS).

How can you say "Dizzy will never leave GNR" ?  How can you know what his mindset is, and how can you possibly begin to fathom the frustrations *he* might feel by a lack of release?

ALL of these guys are musicians - musicians typically want others to hear their music - bottom line is, if your in GNR right now - the stuff you've recorded isn't currently out there.  Chances are, you never thought it would take this long FOR it to get out there.. so yeah, I can understand some of the recent.. activity (or lack thereof)

I, for one, hope Dizzy isn't gone - but I dont understand how a person can just make the blanket statement that "Dizzy will never leave GNR" - because I felt the same way about Slash a long long time ago... regardless of how that whole thing went down.

well it looks like Axl and Dizzy are really good friends and the don`t argue about the musical direction GNR should go so i understand why he said dizzy will never leave GnR. and i dOn?t see really no good reason for bucket to leave. he has his freedom to make solo CDs, do shows and he gets money for being in GNR. so what is his problem? i thought he recorded his gitar stuffs, he doesn`t have to spend all his time in Axls studio.
