Assuming you meant feel, and not fill, I'd say the covers too.  KOHD should be there, but not the rest.

Album should not exist until GN'R is done.  Maybe this is a sign of BAD or possibly good who knows?  Wheres Night Train, Mr. Brownstone, Estranged, Coma.  All the covers need to be booted fuck this CD...I bought it and love that theres "new" GN'R material but what the hell.  We deserve something more.

Personally id take Aint It Fun, and Sympathy for the Devil off and replace them with Estranged and Rocket Queen. Leave Since I Dont Have You on there, i quite like it.

You guys realize that there's only 44 seconds of disc space left on the GH cd right?  It'd be impossible to just put on Estranged and only take off one song.  I agree that it's not the best song selection...but you guys are looking at it from a selfish viewpoint...

It's more of an anthology than a greatest hits, they needed to include at least one song from TSI? to promote it to the casual fans.  Also a song like SFTD needed to be on because there are probably tons of fans out there who don't have that song..and this gives them a small incentive to buy the GH.  Songs like Civil War, Live and Let Die and KOHD still get raidoplay, so the casual fan will see those songs on the cd and buy it for them.

This isn't meant for the hardcore fans, it's meant to make money from the casual fans.  If you added songs like Coma, Rocket Queen, and Mr. Brownstone and whatnot then you'd have a 2 disc album (since Gn'R has some long songs) and Geffen wouldn't make nearly as much money on a 2 disc album as they will with this.

You guys need to look at this from a different view.

Both songs would still fit, both songs are supperior, and both get more airplay.

The album is a Guns 'N Roses: The Singles album in reality, so the album is pretty good.  For everyone here, the album sucks, but as someone said, if you look at the average listener, they get to hear all the songs that they know and love from listening to the TV and watching the Radio.  The only song that is missing from the album is estranged, which somehow didn't make it on the CD even though it is a single.

Personally I would have replaced SIDHY and LALD with Estranged, i.e. replace two inferior songs with one suuperior song. Fairly good trade IMO...

My first post. I don?t think that any of the tracks on the Greatest Hits are bad but on the other hand some of the bands greatest songs are missing on this cd.

Without looking at the disc time available I would say that "It?s So Easy", "Nightrain", "Mr. Brownstone", "My Michelle" and "Rocket Queen" from Appetite For Destruction - "Move To The City", "Patience" and "Used To Love Her" from GNR-Lies - "Don?t Damn Me", "Pretty Tied Up" and of course "Estranged" from Use Your Illusion I/II -

- should be represented on a greatest hits album.

If one had to choose some skips from the grey cd, I?ll say that "Yesterdays", "Live And Let Die" and "Since I don?t Have You" could be leaved out. "Ain?t It Fun" is IMO fucking great and as the almost obligatory none album track "Sympathy For The Devil" suits fine. One must remember that Guns had The Rolling Stones as their idols when they began writing/playing music.
