I seriously doubt that Axl will release CD as a follow up to GH. I?m sure he wants to let the piece speak for itself. He said himself GH will only postpone the release of CD and that means to me ?not anytime soon?.
Edit: CD this year? Probably not.
I really want the album to come out myself and my intents is not for those of you waiting to get demoralised, but this is very likely to happen man. A spokeperson for axl said it in court and i do belive he's not just rapping excuses.
(like something likely is a reliable source in predicting the most unpredictable band)
But with the latest events and things said. What do you think?
Is this a serious subject?

Stop waiting for that thing, you'll only get disappointed when it's not out when you think it'll be.  Velvet Revolver has a release date but I'm not waiting for that one either. I don't count the days until the release date, I'll just go and buy it when it's out. Same thing with GN'R..... /jarmo |

What do I think? I think we wont hear shit all summer... Maybe if were lucky we will get another NYE show in Vegas or LA... but i dont think there will another word the rest of the year..... no single, no album(not that there is any news with that anyways) no tour, no statement, ... just bullshit gossip and guessing....
I hope Brian Carroll comes to Denver soon... If he comes here im going to fucking throw the solo CD's i have of him back on the fucking stage....Ill flip him off and yell "Guns n Roses" as loud as i can untill Security throws me out...

Yes Jarmo, but i and tons of others looked forward for a 04 release when axl himself said he wanted it out before christmas 03
It's not that i'm waiting like waiting for a ordered cd, but gnr is my favorite band and i'm fucking overexited for the album to surface.
A lot of people is like "i just can't wait for it to come out" but that dosen't meen they're pockets gets deeper.

this could become a common thing to do for GNR fans, who have no shows of their own to see. go to bucket's shows and yell at him until your thrown out. eventually he'd try to hide behind a new mask and name, but i think we'd figure it out as soon as we got word of a really tall guy shredding the hell out of a giant guitar. who the hell wants a guy with a bucket on his head in GNR anyway.

Buckethead is talented, but he's also a tool. also an asshole. he is an unbelievably talented guitar player, but he was far from what would make the new GNR a success. if Axl isn't what makes the new GNR a success, then they simply won't be one. Bucket never wrote a song that meant anything to me. why wouldn't i turn on him when he leaves GNR? i'm a fan of this band. when you're a fan of the band, you get excited about having a talented guitar player. but in the long run, he was the second guitarist in a band with three guitarists who are terribly outshadowed by their rock-legend lead singer. let him play with les claypool, we'll forget him soon enough. |
