Yeah it is a masterpiece but also one of the most popular and well known GN'R songs it never has or will lack recognition, Estranged though that's a different story that needs and deserves some fucking recognition outside this board!!!

I will admit, SCOM does have the best Duff bass line.

But Rebecca, you have to agree with me here, Slash's best guitar solo is in Estranged (I don't know which one though).

No, GNR's singles in my opinion are VERY overrated (Yeah, I noticed Estranged is a single, but it isn't a HIT single).  SCOM is kinda dated, Estranged is not. I still love SCOM though.

The reason i made this thread was that SCOM was 3 fuckin 8 in the Kerrang top 100, and its always getting dragged down now, it seems, like all these crappy charts, putting SCOM after Nov.Rain... when there would of been no Nov. Rain if it were not for SCOM!!!
And... you here 'some' negative comments on here bout GNR CD, Axl, Duff, New GNR songs, GH Etc. So i was just shedding some light!

I love both Estranged and Sweet Child O'Mine, but my opinion is that Garden Of Eden smash them all.Of co :peace:urse, this is only my opinion.
By the way, Slash makes his best solo may be on The Garden. Great song my friends.

I love SCOM! Everytime I listen to it, I believe it has to be my favorite song in the entire world! It's so overwhelming, and you have to roll down all the windows in the house and blast it on maximum volume, so the whole world can hear it! I'm just saying I can understand why this thread was created. And I would be fucking pissed off to see it make number 38, it shouldn't be behind November Rain or Estranged (though I do love both songs). Sweet Child O' Mine made number 3 on VH1's 100 greatest songs of the past 25 years, now that is more like it!
