 Of course it is a relation. It couldn't more obvious than that. Furthermore, the second kid in the movie, not the main actor but the other one, is with a GN'R shirt.

 Noup, sorry. But you can see it if you look very carefully, if you have the movie of course. Just look at the blond boy all the time and you'll see the shirt.

Correction.. i meant it's "secret tie", i do think it was purposely put in their as thanks or something so it's not a coincidence, it's their for a reason.

John Connor's friend yeah it's sorta hard to tell but it's a GN'R shirt alright ok
